The Lensbaby Composer is a selective focus SLR lens based on a new ball and socket configuration. It allows you to choose an area of a photo to remain in sharp focus but the surrounding area gradually increasing in blur. You can move this sweet spot of focus by tilting the lens to the desired angle and then focus with a traditional focusing ring. Focal length approx 50mm. The aperture can be changed and even creative aperture disks are available.
